The core of this cutting board is layered red oak and hickory. The outer edges are planks of deck wood recovered from the ship that have been sealed in clear resin. Once the top of the board is polished, with the included compound, the textures and colors of the deck will show through the resin. The graphics on the board are hand drawn and burned, no lasers or machines were used.

Eric will add custom graphics to the board, per request; therefore, the top of the board is unfinished. Please contact Eric directly to make arrangements for any customization. Otherwise, if you do not want to customize it, the board is ready to finish with the included compound.
