The Damascus was made from a combined 21 layers of steel from the Battleship Texas, 15N20, and 1084 high carbon steels with a solid 1084 core. The guard is made solely from Battleship Texas Steel. The spacer (between the red, white, and blue accents and the curly maple handle) is deck wood from the Battleship Texas.
The presentation case is made from Texas sourced black walnut and curly maple. It was crafted by Mark, Jeff, and Jacob Matthews.
