This item was sold in our Independence Day online auction.

This beautiful commemorative sub hilt battleship Texas Bowie is made from torpedo blistered steel from the restoration efforts of 2023. The handle is made from decking board acquired from the decking of the same restoration. This beautiful blade has an epoxy keyhole-fashion Texas emblem representing the beautiful state of Texas. The pommel is a stylized presentation of the paravane mine sweeping attachment. I’m very graciously thankful to the Battleship Texas Artisan foundation for allow me to participate in this glorious commemorative event.
