Texas Coffee Table – SOLD

This item was sold at the Battleship Regatta Auction hosted by the Houston Yacht Club.
This coffee table features a top made from Battleship Texas deck wood, bordered by planks of Texas mesquite. Checks and holes in the deck wood were filled with copper-enhanced resin which highlights the natural beauty of the long leaf yellow pine.
As a Navy veteran it was an honor to work with a piece of Naval history! This was a fun project and allowed me to work with my favorite wood, Texas Mesquite. I thought it went well with the Long Leaf Yellow pine of the deck. I really love the character and beauty of the deck wood. So happy we are able to repurpose the wood and steel. Thank you for letting me be a small part of the USS Texas team!!
