This was truly a pleasure to be a part of. Mikey and I getting to collaborate on a project that is this huge and meaningful to so many people is a blessing. The larger knife is 35 layers of 15N20 and Battleship Texas hull twist Damascus over an 80CrV2 core. The smaller knife is Battleship Texas hull over a Nickel shim with an 80CrV2 core. Both knives and the pen are decked out “pun intended” with wood that was reclaimed from the deck of the ship. Stainless pins and of course The Lone Star mosaic just for good measure.
