This is a modern Bowie style fighting knife that is nod to the k-bar. The blade is a San-Mai construction with the battleship of Texas steel used for the jacket and the core of the knife is 80CRV2 High Carbon. The guard and pins, and escushion are made from brass to keep the naval theme and the handle is made from African Padauk which makes this knife beautiful and functional. This is a battle ready blade.
