The Dreadnought Bowie is forged with 165 layer Damascus billet, consisting of steel reclaimed from the Battleship Texas, 1084 carbon steel, and 52100 bearing steel recovered from the deck guns. The butt cap and bolster are copper. The handle is stabilized deck wood from the Battleship Texas with mosaic pins.
